Senior HVAC & Plumbing Mechanical Designer Join a high-performing design team supporting nationally recognized retail brands while working on a fully remote or flexible hybrid basis. We're seeking a Senior HVAC & Plumbing Mechanical Designer to play a key role in delivering mechanical and plumbing designs for large-scale retail rollout programs across the country. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance quality, speed, and consistency while working on multiple projects. What You'll Do
• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for national retail clients using established prototype store layouts. • Adapt prototype designs to site-specific conditions and unique client requirements. • Develop detailed construction documents utilizing AutoCAD and Revit. • Coordinate closely with architecture, engineering, and project teams to ensure complete and accurate design packages. • Manage multiple active projects while meeting fast turnaround schedules. • Review designs for quality, code compliance, and consistency across multiple locations. • Mentor and support junior designers to improve quality and reduce rework. • Contribute to process improvements, design standards, and best practices that increase project efficiency. What We're Looking For
• Strong HVAC design experience in commercial buildings. • Commercial plumbing design experience. • Background working within an MEP consulting or architectural environment. • Advanced AutoCAD proficiency. • Working knowledge of Revit. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume production setting. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate construction documents. • Excellent communication and coordination skills. Preferred Experience
• Retail, restaurant, or multi-site rollout project experience. • Experience working from prototype-based designs. • Mentoring or training other designers. • Familiarity with fast-paced project environments requiring quick turnaround times. • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
