Job Description Regional Director of Operations Latvia Member of the Baltic Management Team
We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven leader to take overall responsibility for our retail operations in Latvia. As Regional Director of Operations Latvia and a member of the Baltic Management Team, you will lead our retail team, drive operational excellence and customer experience, and take ownership of sales, profitability and sustainable growth. You will also play an active role in Baltic-level cooperation, sharing best practices and developing our retail business.
Your main responsibilities People Leadership
• Lead, motivate, coach and develop team within sales market area; • Build a strong leadership pipeline and support continuous development of retail talent; • Create a positive, trusting, collaborative and performance-oriented culture; • Act as a strong communication link between stores, the Latvia Support Office and the Baltic organization. Operational Excellence
• Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and operational execution across the Latvian store network; • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, health, safety and environmental standards, as well as applicable legislation; • Ensure business continuity and achievement of operational objectives; • Conduct regular and purposeful store visits, focusing on people, customer experience, operational performance and business opportunities; • Drive continuous improvement and solution-oriented cooperation between stores and Support Office teams. Commercial & Business Performance
• Take ownership of sales, profitability and overall business performance of the Latvian retail network; • Translate company strategy and business targets into clear priorities and actions for the retail team; • Understand the local market, customer needs and competitive environment, identifying opportunities for profitable growth; • Drive strong commercial and merchandising execution based on Product, Price, Place and Promotion; • Use business performance data, KPIs and customer insights to drive effective commercial execution and improvements in sales, profitability and customer experience. Baltic Leadership & Business Development
• As a member of the Baltic Management Team, actively contribute to Baltic retail priorities and business development; • Cooperate closely with Operations, Commercial, Category, Marketing and other functions across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia; • Bring Latvian market insights and operational perspectives into Baltic-level decision-making; • Identify, share and implement best practices across the Baltic organization; • Participate in existing and new store development projects and ensure operational readiness for new store openings. We are looking for you if you have:
• Higher education in economics, business administration, management or a related field; • At least 3 years of leadership experience in retail or a comparable multi-site business environment; • Strong business mindset, strategic thinking and analytical skills; • Strong understanding of retail business, commercial performance and merchandising principles; • Ability to translate strategy and commercial priorities into strong operational execution; • Strong knowledge of the Latvian retail market and economic environment; • Ability to collaborate and influence effectively across functions and countries; • Category B driver's licence; • Fluent Latvian and professional working proficiency in English.
