Job purpose/role
As part of our growth journey and the onboarding of future new investments in the upcoming months, we currently have an open vacancy to join our tax department as a Tax Compliance and Tax Reporting Specialist. In this role, you will support tax compliance, reporting and risk management activities for Luxembourg-based investment entities of the Allianz Group. You will work closely with tax advisors, accounting teams and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax obligations, contribute to local and Group tax reporting requirements, and support tax-related projects, governance and process improvements. Key responsibilities
• Review and coordinate corporate tax compliance obligations for Luxembourg investment entities. • Calculate and review quarterly and annual tax provisions and support tax reporting under local GAAP and IFRS. • Review tax assessments and ensure accurate tax-related accounting entries and accruals. • Coordinate with external tax advisors and communicate with tax authorities. • Support foreign withholding tax and transfer pricing matters. • Support tax-related projects, including new investment structures and regulatory developments. • Contribute to sound tax governance and risk management across the Luxembourg entities.
Key requirements/skills/experience
• Degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or a related field; ACCA or a comparable professional qualification is a plus. • 4-6 years (or more) of experience in the preparation and/or review of Luxembourg corporate tax returns. • Basic knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS and deferred taxation. • Experience with SAP is considered as an asset. • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; French and/or German would be an advantage. • Strong MS-Office skills, in particular advanced Excel proficiency. • Team player but with the ability to work independently in a structured and organized manner. • A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset is appreciated.
