Position Summary The Maintenance Planner / General Maintenance position combines maintenance planning, preventive and predictive maintenance coordination, CMMS administration, project and backlog management, and hands-on general maintenance support. The position is responsible for helping ensure reliable equipment operation, efficient maintenance scheduling, production support, proper documentation, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety requirements.

Quality Control Requirements • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). • Understand HACCP principles and their importance. • Follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards. • Maintain excellent personal hygiene and proper work attire. • Report any suspicious activity related to food defense. Safety Requirements • Follow all OSHA regulations applicable to job tasks. • Stay aware of surroundings including forklift traffic and trip hazards. • Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • Maintain guards and safety devices on machinery and structures. • Never operate equipment without proper training or certification. Education / Certifications • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred • CMRP Certified or Ability to certify within 2 years of hire Primary – Maintenance Planner • Planning and scheduling the predictive/preventative maintenance schedule for the facility. • Planning for upcoming orders and projects. • Oversee the project/backlog maintenance work and schedule team appropriately for completion. • Review production and sanitation schedule to plan and assign work orders for efficient completion with minimal down time. • Oversee CMMS program and ensure all maintenance time is recorded properly in the system. • Ensure proper documentation is received with parts and equipment (specifications, manuals, etc.). • Work with MRO Inventory Coordinator to help maintain parts inventories and back-up systems. • Additional duties as assigned by Management. • Respond to reports of suspicious activity related to food defense. Secondary – Maintenance (As Time Permits) • Perform general maintenance on production equipment and facility. • Assist with equipment repairs, troubleshooting, and adjustments. • Install, adjust, or reinforce production lines and equipment. • Support preventative maintenance activities. General Duties • Complete tasks assigned by Manager or leadership. • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency. • Respond to food defense concerns or suspicious activity. Work Conditions / Physical Demand Guide • Occasi of shift • Regularly = 41–60% of shift • Frequently = 60–90% of shift • C of shift Note Employees are required to immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to a supervisor or authorized personnel.

: Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
