About this role

Senior Principal Marketing Manager

Job Description: In this role as a Senior Principal Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy, positioning, and growth agenda for a portfolio of services, solutions, or industry segments. You will lead integrated marketing programs spanning market intelligence, brand positioning, demand generation, customer engagement, influencer and analyst relations, and ecosystem marketing to strengthen Infosys' market leadership and accelerate business growth. • Infosys is seeking an exceptional writer and strategic communicator to lead a hybrid role that unites two closely related disciplines: research-led thought leadership for the Banking and Financial Services vertical, and executive communications on behalf of the Financial Services unit leader. • The role owns both the intellectual agenda and the executive voice. On one hand, it drives the strategic direction for differentiated insights and industry perspectives that strengthen Infosys' position as a trusted AI transformation partner to global banking and financial services clients. On the other, it acts as the trusted communications partner and ghostwriter to the senior executive - shaping how the leader shows up across keynotes, media, professional social platforms, and company-wide and client communications. • The successful candidate will combine strong domain fluency in banking and financial services with outstanding storytelling, speechwriting, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. They will translate complex business and technology themes into a compelling, consistent narrative that elevates both the executive and the wider Financial Services unit. • This is a highly matrixed role. While reporting to the AVP, Marketing, it works in close partnership with the Infosys Knowledge Institute, Marketing, and Sales, and operates as a discreet, trusted extension of the FS unit leader's office.

Key Responsibilities • Thought Leadership & Research Strategy for BFS • Working with the AVP marketing and the Infosys Knowledge Institute (IKI) to define the thought leadership strategy and execute a thought leadership agenda that supports the priorities of the BFS unit. • Identify emerging themes and disruptive trends across the banking and financial services industry. • In partnership with Marketing and the IKI, develop forward-looking perspectives on domain and technology topics. • Lead the production of high-quality assets — survey-based reports, whitepapers, executive briefs, point-of-view papers, and industry trend analyses and translate them into CXO-ready insight. • Develop messaging frameworks and narratives that connect thought leadership to go-to-market and sales priorities. • Uphold editorial standards, brand voice, and quality across all executive and unit content.

• Executive Communications • Serve as the primary ghostwriter and communications partner to the BFS unit leader, capturing their voice, point of view, and priorities. • Draft keynotes, video scripts, talking points, and media messaging for both internal and external audiences. • Prepare the executive for speaking engagements, panels, media interviews, and analyst discussions with tailored briefings and messaging. • Ensure a consistent, authentic executive voice across every channel and format. • Draft company-wide emails and client communications on behalf of the executive for internal and external audiences. • Support the construction of messaging in presentation decks, ensuring narrative clarity and consistency across internal and external materials.

• Executive Thought Leadership & Profile Building • Build the executive's profile as a recognised industry expert across targeted media, panels, and professional social networks • Develop and manage perspective papers, byline articles, and quotes attributed to the leader on the themes shaping banking and financial services. • Own and curate the executive's LinkedIn presence and social content calendar, including original posts, commentary, and engagement narratives. • Identify and secure high-value speaking, media, and industry-forum opportunities that raise the leader's external visibility.

• Stakeholder Collaboration & Industry Positioning • Partner closely with Marketing, IKI, PR and Sales to align research, messaging, and campaigns with client priorities and go-to-market initiatives. • Monitor global banking and financial services trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory developments to keep the executive platform current and credible. • Build relationships with industry analysts, media, academic institutions, fintech ecosystems, and research organisations.

Required Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. • 16+ years of experience spanning executive communications, speechwriting, corporate communications, thought leadership, marketing — ideally with exposure to financial services research, consulting, or industry strategy. • Exceptional writing, ghostwriting, and storytelling ability, with a proven track record of producing executive-level content and speeches. • Demonstrated experience building senior-leader profiles and social presence (e.g. LinkedIn) across media, panels, and industry forums. • Strong understanding of the global financial services and technology landscape. • Demonstrated ability to operate discreetly and effectively within highly matrixed global organisations. • Media relations, PR, or analyst-engagement experience (e.g. Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Everest, HFS). • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
