Job Description: BAE Systems Platforms & Services Headquarters is seeking a Facilities Manager whose duties include Resilience, Efficiency, Sustainability Activities: Lead Strategic Energy Partnership to maximize energy savings, mature utilization of metrics, systems, and processes. Support implementation of Energy Partner cost and efficiency recommendations. Lead Segment sustainability reporting, support business areas in identifying efficiency improvement opportunities and review capital project requests for energy efficiency and Net Zero impact.
Systems and Tools Development: Mature utilization of metrics, processes, and systems for Facilities Maintenance, develop simple to use tools based on existing compliance requirements to standardize and improve performance monitoring across the Segment, continue development of analytics and dashboarding for Resource Advisor system in support of greater site level engagement with Efficiency and Sustainability, explore applications of AI tools and assets to streamline Facilities data collection, reporting, dashboarding, etc., support development and maturation of Facilities Risk Register and Facilities website maintenance and updating
This role provides strategic and tactical guidance, including the development of process and systems improvements. It also serves as a key interface with the business area facility teams and our Segment, Inc and plc functional partners on all Sustainability and Systems related topics.
Required Skills and Education: Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years work experience or equivalent experience Possess sound understanding of P&S business areas and practices. Stays abreast of developments in process and technologies and introduces change accordingly

Preferred Skills and Education: Be able to orchestrate team members with differing points of view and capabilities across the line of business, both within the organization and externally, in an effort to accomplish tasks that harmonize short-term and long-term goals of the business; Have effective management skills in order to provide guidance and vision to the site facility managers and business area staff; Possess highly developed communication skills to articulate and exchange complex information, often of a sensitive nature, amongst all levels of the organization; Exercise analytical thinking skills and practice resourcefulness in gathering additional information while evaluating and developing options for a variety of complex situations; Have the ability to use conceptual and innovative thinking in identifying solutions to problems and challenges; Have experience forecasting costs and budgets; ability to partner with finance and Procurement on business modeling Work as a cross functional team leader directing the development of new initiatives Certified Energy Manager Master’s degree (ideally MBA, Sustainability, or Engineering)
