As a Structural department Craft Supervisor, you will: Ensure that the Shop is pursuing Company goals for Safety, Quality and Productivity by overseeing the daily work performed. Develop and/or review project schedules and budgets during the planning phase. Allocate personnel and resources to efficiently support all contracts (including shift work) and work items. Oversee and monitor schedule performance, including review of ongoing and upcoming projects, investigation of late activities, project supervision, and the development of practical solutions. Monitor and evaluate project budget performance, including review of ongoing and upcoming projects, development of productivity enhancements and investigation of over-budget items. Monitor productivity across all shifts, including the amount and type of work assigned as well as the quality and quantity of work accomplished. Perform personnel related functions including, but not limited to, the supervision of employees, performance management, workforce reductions, promotions, demotions, and discipline. Ensure that employees understand and adhere to Company policies. Train and motivate employees in the areas of technical knowledge, safety, environmental and communication.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required a high school diploma or equivalent degree and at least 5 years’ experience. Ability to read and comprehend NAVSEA standard items. Demonstrated technical knowledge in the relevant trade. Demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, supervise, and direct the work of other employees in the relevant trade or industry. Ability to use discretion and judgment in making operations and personnel decisions. Proficient computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office programs and similar software. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to obtain DBIDS to access Military Base

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish Ship Repair Experience Basic computer skills (Excel/Word/Power point)

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $81156 - $137964

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
