Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Temporary Commercial Contracts Attorney in the Advertising and Marketing Space
Overview: Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking an Attorney with 3-5+ years of experience in Commercial Contracts in the Advertising and Marketing Industry.
Company: A Marketing Agency
Experience: At least 3-5+ years of Attorney experience in Commercial Contracts.
Location: REMOTE. East Coast or Central Time Zone Preferred. NYC is a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, data licenses, DPAs, BAAs, and reseller agreements. • Provide legal counsel on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance matters. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior management to support business objectives. • Develop and deliver legal training and risk management strategies. • Support best practices in contract management, data privacy, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in commercial transactions, preferably in marketing, advertising, technology, data, IP, or privacy.
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school; licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
Strong understanding of contract law and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
A collaborative, proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
Pay Range: $90-100/hour
