About this role

JOB PURPOSE: Performing activities that support effective implementation of the ADNOC HSE Control framework with regards to Transportation Safety. Drives influence on all ADNOC Onshore Contractor and Sub-Contractors to comply and adhere to the Transportation Safety Corporate Manual and Corporate Practices requirements. Performs regular HSE inspections across sites to verify implementation of Transportations Safety requirements in the systematic way and in line with Health Safety & Environment Management System (HSEMS) and other HSE discipline requirements at all operation facilities. Supervises and organizes the HSE inspection activities to ensure high-level HSE performance in the Company and ensuring establishment of the system for provision of solid analytical insights on all aspects of Transportation Safety, while managing solid database of drivers, vehicles and respective roads including all associated transportation safety technologies i.e. IVMS, AFDD etc. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Job Specific Accountabilities

• Ensure effective implementation of ADNOC Onshore Transportation Safety standards across all operations while having a solid grip on insights and details corresponding to company and contractor’s drivers, vehicles, and road infrastructure. • Conduct regular field audits, inspections, and spot checks on vehicles, drivers, and journey management systems to verify compliance and identify gaps. • Monitor and analyze driver behaviour and vehicle performance data (IVMS, AFDD, DMS, telematics, GPS) to detect unsafe trends and develop improvement actions, as well enforce corrective actions. • Verify contractor compliance with ADNOC Onshore road safety requirements through systematic checks and performance reviews. • Lead investigations of road traffic incidents, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures. • Coordinate with site teams and transportation units to close identified gaps and ensure timely corrective actions for systemic improvement. • Drive on-the-ground implementation of Transportation Safety campaigns, ensuring active engagement of drivers and operational teams. • Support liaison with government authorities and ADNOC Group companies to align enforcement practices and share best practices for crash prevention. • Assess and approve ADSD training providers and verify training effectiveness through audits and driver competency checks. • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to operational teams for journey management planning, vehicle safety compliance, and monitoring systems IVMS, AFDD etc. Generic Accountabilities Supervision

• Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives. • Performs any other related duties as and when required at the company’s discretion. Budgets

• Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives. • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

• Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards. • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes. • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices Reports

• Site Contractors and Visitors • Abu Dhabi & Dubai Police, ADNOC group of companies • Vendors QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or other relevant discipline.

• Internationally recognized certification in Transportation Safety. Experience & Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge in general safety and loss prevention including 5 years in road safety, implementing road safety strategies, standards, systems, procedures and training • Experience in traffic and road safety education and awareness • Knowledge of fleet management systems.
