About this role
The Department of Diagnostic & Interventional Imaging is seeking a trained Breast Imaging Radiologist to join our growing radiology department across the Greater Houston area. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive breast imaging services. Position Key Accountabilities:
• Interpret a broad range of breast imaging examinations, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. • Perform image-guided breast procedures, including ultrasound-guided, stereotactic, and MRI-guided biopsies and localizations. • Participate in breast imaging consultations and communicate findings and recommendations effectively with referring physicians and patients as appropriate. • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences, including breast tumor board and other breast-related clinical conferences. • Collaborate with breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary breast care team.
Qualifications:
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Radiology residency. • Fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology/Breast Radiology. • Board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology. • Texas Medical License or Faculty Temporary License. • Strong diagnostic interpretation and clinical communication skills. • Commitment to patient-centered care.
