About this role

Scope:

As our Warehouse Section Head, you will lead and manage the Warehouse team responsible for operations associated with inventory management ensuring that ways of working are EHS and Quality Compliant.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with site SOP’s, GSK EHS standards, GPS and guidelines and relevant legal requirements.

• Report all accidents, incidents and any EHS issues using the appropriate process / system to your line manager or, if required, the Occupational Health Advisor.

• Maintain work area in an inspection ready state and clean as you go to maintain good safe housekeeping standards.

• Participate fully in our site’s EHS initiatives and ensure that all relevant EHS standards are adhered to.

• Maintain GMP standards where appropriate to your role.

• Read and understand relevant Standard Operating Procedures and Global Quality applicable to role.

• Management Policies relevant to job role.

• Attend training and complete assessments as required.

• Self Inspection responsible for the WH.

• Assure Shipping finished products smoothly at the right time with his team.

• Monitor and improve area KPIs.

• Manage and support Outbound, inbound and Pick for production teams and solving area issues.

This position is fully on-site.

Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, engineering, logistics, supply chain or a related field. Pharmacy or Engineering would be preferred.

• Minimum 4 years of warehouse or logistics experience, ideally in a regulated or pharmaceutical environment.

• Awareness of materials management techniques would be advantageous, such as provided by a Certification/Diploma in Production & Inventory Management.

• Experience supervising or leading a team.

• Practical knowledge of GMP, good documentation practices, and EHS basics.

• Good knowledge of lean sigma tools, techniques, and a passion of their application to improve the business, Lean Six Sigma is an add.

• Proficiency with software applications related to the operation.

• Experience in conducting baseline study and knowledge of necessary tools.

• Experience with SAP or other major ERP systems.

• Fluent communication in both Arabic & English languages (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills:

• Leadership skills and experience in facilitating, coaching, and motivating multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.

• Improvement mindset to improve processes and ways of working within the organization.

• Ability to influence others at all levels of the organization to drive change and achieve results.
