Location/Division Specific Information: This position is based within our warehouse operations team, supporting the safe, accurate and timely handling of materials and products. The role operates in a regulated warehouse environment and may require work in ambient, chilled and cold-temperature storage areas. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the efficient flow of materials and products through warehouse operations by performing picking, packing, receiving, put-away, replenishment and other warehouse activities.
• Attention to safety, quality and accuracy will help ensure products are handled correctly and delivered to our customers on time and in accordance with established procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in distribution, warehouse, supply chain or a related field.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks, such as order pickers, pallet trucks or forklifts.
• Experience working in temperature-controlled, cold-room or regulated warehouse environments is an advantage.
• Ability to perform warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, replenishment, staging, inventory movement and shipment preparation.
• Ability to accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, safety requirements and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements, where applicable.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to verify product information, quantities, locations, labels and documentation to maintain inventory and order accuracy.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use warehouse systems, barcode scanners or other electronic devices used for inventory and order processing.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely after completing the required training and authorization.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with warehouse colleagues, supervisors and other operational teams.
• Ability to prioritize assigned tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment while meeting productivity, quality and safety expectations.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, compliance and proper material-handling practices.
• Willingness and ability to perform various warehouse duties as operational requirements change.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
• This position involves regular physical warehouse activities, including standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and handling cartons, materials and pallets.
• The role may require lifting and moving materials within established workplace safety and manual-handling limits, with appropriate lifting equipment or assistance used when required.
• Employees may be required to work in temperature-controlled environments, including chilled and cold storage areas, for periods appropriate to operational requirements. Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and cold-weather protective clothing will be provided and must be worn as required.
• The position may involve the use of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, order pickers and forklifts, subject to appropriate training and authorization.
• Employees are expected to comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), quality, security and site procedures at all times.
• Depending on business requirements, the role may involve shift work, overtime, weekend or public holiday work.
