The Opportunity Working a 12-hour rotating roster, you'll join a close-knit team of four Shift Managers responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our 24/7 manufacturing facility. During normal business hours you'll have access to a broad support network including Production Leadership, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HR and EHS professionals. Outside these hours, you become the key operational leader responsible for the site, making decisions, leading teams and responding to operational challenges as they arise. For the right person, this represents an outstanding opportunity to further develop their leadership capability and gain exposure to all aspects of manufacturing operations.
What You'll Be Doing As a Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of production activities during your shift. You'll provide leadership and direction to operational teams while ensuring production, quality, safety and business objectives are achieved. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and promoting a strong safety culture where everyone goes home safe every day.
• Coordinating people, equipment and resources to deliver production plans and operational targets.
• Providing leadership, coaching and support to operators, technicians, team leaders and contractors.
• Monitoring manufacturing processes and responding effectively to operational issues.
• Ensuring products are manufactured in line with quality requirements, procedures and specifications.
• Supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Coordinating maintenance activities and supporting equipment reliability initiatives.
• Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities that improve productivity, safety, quality and efficiency.
• Supporting employee onboarding, training and competency development.
• Maintaining effective shift communication and handovers to ensure operational continuity.

• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, production, process or industrial environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

• Experience supporting investigations, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to influence, coach and develop others.
Highly Regarded
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Operational Excellence programs.
• Experience leading teams in a shift-based or 24/7 operational environment.
• Exposure to maintenance coordination, reliability or shutdown activities.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems.
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
