About this role
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL: • Handle customer complaints and cargo claims • Develop customer relationships with existing customers • Handle ad-hoc customer enquiries on sales/rate quotation and operational issues • Liaise with customers and overseas offices/ JV on shipping activities and documentation • Handle full set of shipping documents (PSA/ Customs/ Tradenet/ Portnet) • Ensure proper cut-off procedures at month-end closing • Handle day-to-day operations and transactions in the forwarding area • Manage data entries • Send pre-alerts and shipping advices to customers and DGF overseas offices • Ensure timely dispatch of shipping documents to customers and DGF overseas offices • Process shipment data • Handle general enquiries regarding shipments, vessel's ETA and charges • Send shipment arrival notification letters to consignee and issue delivery orders • Handle tradenet/ customs documentation • Liaise with relevant departments upon cargo irregularity reported • Be responsible to ensure Full, Accurate and Timely data including shipment milestone in CW1 system • Be responsible to ensure ACR is updated timely • Be responsible to ensure Demurage, Detention, Storage and other incidental charge are recovered from customer • Be responsible for file profitability • Manage any other tasks as assigned YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Diploma/ degree with at least 3-5 years of related work experience • Knowledge of logistics industry preferred • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) We regret to inform that only shortlisted applicants will be contacted further by the hiring team.
