Then we look forward to receiving your application as Senior Expert AI Governance (m/f/d) Bonn | Full-time | Permanent Your responsibilities • Provide strategic advisory support to business units and corporate functions on regulatory requirements related to Artificial Intelligence, data usage and digital regulation, with a particular focus on the EU AI Act • Further develop and oversee the DHL Group’s AI governance framework, including policies, standards, governance processes, and risk-based review and approval mechanisms for AI solutions • Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on DHL Group and drive the implementation of appropriate compliance and governance measures • Design pragmatic governance solutions for AI- and data-related use cases and advise stakeholders on the compliant implementation of high-risk AI systems • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to advance strategic AI governance topics in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across the Group • Prepare and present decision papers, policy interpretations and recommendations for management, governance bodies and other key stakeholders • Build and maintain a Group-wide AI governance network and design and deliver training, awareness and knowledge-sharing initiatives Your profile • Fully qualified lawyer with two successfully completed German state examinations in law • Several years of professional experience in IT law, data law, AI governance, digital compliance or a related field, ideally within an international corporate or governance environment • Strong knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks related to AI governance and digital regulation, particularly the EU AI Act • Experience in developing and implementing governance structures, policies, standards and compliance frameworks • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to AI- and data-driven technologies, as well as the ability to translate complex legal requirements into practical governance solutions • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholders in an international environment • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset and a strong interest in technological developments at the intersection of law, governance and innovation • Very good written and spoken German and English Your benefits • Flexibility: We offer up to 3 days/week of flexible remote work, along with flexible working hours without core hours.
