About this role

Job Title Global GEO Marketing & Activation Manager – Grooming & Beauty Job Description About the Role Philips Grooming & Beauty is accelerating its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) agenda, with the ambition to strengthen how our brands and products are discovered, understood and recommended across AI-powered search and Large Language Model environments.

Following the development of our global GEO strategy and initial pilots, we are now entering the next phase: scaling execution across categories and regions, supported by a dedicated GEO platform and a clear global operating model. We are looking for a GEO Program & Activation Manager to help lead this next phase. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong leadership, disciplined execution, analytical thinking, stakeholder management and project management skills, and who can positively influence teams across a complex global organization.

You will work across global category teams, regional marketing organizations, digital, content, communications, e-commerce, analytics and external agency partners to translate GEO strategy and data into coordinated, measurable execution.

Your role:

Lead GEO execution across markets Drive the translation of the global GEO strategy into actionable regional plans, ensuring clear priorities, disciplined follow-through and strong execution across our core GEO pillars:

• Philips.com – strengthening owned content and product information for generative search and AI discovery. • PR & Editorial – building authoritative third-party presence around the topics and consumer needs that matter most. • YouTube & Video – increasing the relevance and authority of video content influencing AI-generated recommendations. • Retail & E-commerce – improving the consistency, quality and discoverability of product content across key commerce ecosystems. You will ensure teams move from insight to action with clear ownership, timing and accountability.

Turn data into clear actions Use data from the GEO platform, digital analytics, content performance, editorial coverage, retailer ecosystems and other relevant sources to identify performance gaps and opportunities.

You will be expected to analyze patterns, challenge assumptions and answer questions such as:

• Where are we gaining or losing visibility? • Which competitors are outperforming us, and why? • Which topics, sources or product benefits are influencing AI-generated recommendations? • Where are the biggest content or authority gaps? • Which interventions are driving measurable improvement? • Where should teams focus their time and investment for the highest impact? You will translate complex data into clear conclusions, priorities and recommendations for both senior and operational stakeholders.

Drive adoption of our GEO platform Play a central role in the rollout and adoption of our GEO platform across categories and regions.

• You will coordinate market onboarding, help establish the right monitoring frameworks, ensure teams understand the insights available to them and create a strong operating rhythm for converting data into concrete actions. • The objective is not simply to create reporting, but to build a disciplined organization that continuously learns, prioritizes and acts on the insights.

Lead with discipline and accountability Bring structure and momentum to a fast-moving and highly cross-functional program.

• You will establish clear plans, milestones, governance and decision-making routines, while ensuring stakeholders understand what is expected, when it is expected and how progress will be measured. • You will proactively identify risks, resolve issues and keep teams focused on the highest-impact priorities.

Influence across a broad stakeholder network Success in this role will depend strongly on your ability to build relationships and positively influence others.

• You will work with senior and operational stakeholders across global and regional teams, often without direct authority, and will need to create alignment across different priorities, perspectives and levels of GEO maturity. • You will be expected to communicate clearly, challenge constructively and create confidence and momentum around the program.

Build a scalable global capability GEO is an emerging discipline and will continue to evolve rapidly.

• You will help develop ways of working, playbooks, governance, measurement frameworks and best practices that can be scaled across categories and regions, while ensuring that learnings from lead markets are shared and adopted quickly. • You will also help the organization adapt as generative AI platforms, consumer behavior and digital ecosystems continue to change.

You're the right fit if: We are looking for a strong leader, analytical thinker and program driver who is comfortable operating in a complex, global and fast-changing environment.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree • 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital, e-commerce, transformation, consulting, analytics, project management or a related field. • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to create clarity, direction and momentum across cross-functional teams. • Excellent project and program management capabilities, including planning, governance, prioritization, risk management and follow-through. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, diagnose root causes and translate insights into clear business actions. • A disciplined operating style, with strong attention to ownership, timing, quality and delivery. • Proven stakeholder management skills across senior and operational levels. • Strong influencing skills and the ability to create alignment without formal authority. • A positive, collaborative and solution-oriented leadership style. • Strong communication and storytelling skills, including the ability to simplify complex findings and make clear recommendations. • The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution. • Curiosity about generative AI, digital search, content ecosystems and evolving consumer discovery behavior. • Experience in SEO, GEO, digital analytics or AI-enabled marketing platforms is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
