Job Description Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering & Management student to join our Materials team as a Student Buyer / Material Specialist. In this role, you will support procurement activities, work directly with suppliers, monitor material availability, and assist in ensuring uninterrupted supply to production.
Job Description Key Responsibilities
• Create and manage purchase orders in ERP systems. • Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery dates, and shipment status. • Monitor material shortages and support mitigation activities. • Track open orders and proactively resolve supply issues. • Maintain accurate procurement and supplier data. • Support inventory management and material planning activities. • Support reports generation, analyze procurement, and inventory data. • Participate in supplier communication and performance follow-up. • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Materials and Supply Chain organization. Requirements
• Industrial Engineering & Management student (2nd year or above). • Availability to work 3 full working days per week. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills in English and Hebrew. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP advantage). • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or operations. • Knowledge of inventory management and material planning concepts. • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools. What We Offer
