The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026, when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

How You’ll Make an Impact The Director, Product Strategy and Commercialization will lead the commercial strategy for Fidelity’s digital investing platform, ensuring the Investly product roadmap, go-to-market priorities, incentives, lifecycle programs and client value proposition are directly tied to measurable business outcomes. Working within their team and cross-functionally, they will be accountable for translating the Investly vision into a prioritized growth agenda that supports funded investor growth, AUM growth, revenue generation, margin improvement, client lifetime value and long-term P&L performance.
They will own the commercial planning discipline for Investly, including business case development, roadmap prioritization, experimentation, commercialization planning, incentive optimization, feedback collection, partner alignment and performance management against agreed business targets.
Within the team, the Director, Product Strategy and Commercialization will establish, maintain and iterate the operating cadence, goals and metric framework required to run Investly with stronger commercial discipline. They will ensure team members and cross-functional partners understand how their work contributes to growth, revenue, cost efficiency, client outcomes, enterprise value and P&L performance.
• Own the commercial strategy, business planning and P&L accountability framework for Investly, including the strategic plan, business cases and performance targets that guide product and growth decisions. • Own the commercialization programme for priority growth initiatives, coordinating cross-functional execution and ensuring initiatives deliver against agreed business outcomes. • Translate customer, market and performance insights into product, commercialization and lifecycle priorities that improve user experience and drive profitable growth. • Champion a data-informed, user-centric and commercially disciplined approach to product strategy, commercialization and P&L performance. • Build and lead a high-performing team that aligns with Fidelity’s values and that collaborates well in cross-functional environments Collaborate with Digital Client Experience, Product Managers, Investly, Incentive Managers and cross-functionally with Business Development, Social Media, Data Analytics, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Marketing to deliver customer-centric, compliant and financially sound outcomes. • Identifying products and services, building rigorous business cases, setting high-level business requirements for Software Product, defining GTM briefs for Marketing, and making clear trade-off recommendations based on expected commercial value, resource requirements, risk and P&L impact.
What We’re Looking For
• Degree in Business, Software or a related field/equivalent experience • 7+ years in digital products, product strategy, commercialization, growth, business planning or related strategy roles, including experience managing commercial outcomes • 3+ years of experience managing and growing a high-performing team • Experience in digital platforms within the wealth industry • Experience in strategy, business planning and P&L-oriented decision-making • Experience building business cases, performance scorecards and commercialization plans tied to measurable financial and growth outcomes
