The Senior Business Analyst serves as an important intermediary between business clients, Empower Personal Wealth ("EPW"), stakeholders, value streams, IT function and other teams. This position requires a full working knowledge of business and technical environments. This position plays an important advocacy role for the business clients in all phases of the complex solution development lifecycle for each of the critical stages, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation follow up.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborates closely with business leaders to understand, assess, define, enunciate and document clear, crisp, complete and comprehensive business requirements • Work closely with users, other analysts, project managers, SMEs, legal / compliance and systems teams to ensure business requirements are clearly understood, communicated thoroughly and broadly, properly documented enabling systems requirements to be developed. • Collaborate with product and customer experience team to support creation of journey maps, user-interface wireframes/mockups. • May work alongside an architect to map out and document possible solutions. • Determines operational objectives, gathers information, and evaluates output, requirements and formats. • Gains consensus and approval on final requirements. • Consults with technical teams on the capability mapping into user and functional requirements. Ensures that requirements are understood by development team and provide additional detail and artifacts as needed. • May lead projects and/or partner with the Project Manager to determine project scope, task estimates, deadlines, and deliverables while simultaneously working on multiple projects. This could include identifying project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget. • As the “eyes and ears” of the business, this position closely monitors progress to ensure that the emerging solution meets the business needs - identifying issues, questions or challenges as they emerge, raising them with business leaders and driving them to resolution. • This position works very closely with the testing team, using the requirements document as a critical guide, to ensure that issues are identified and fully resolved prior to roll out. The position may require engagement in the testing process including development of a test plan, identification of test scenarios, execution of testing, reporting of defects and management of the process. • Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing. • May create or collaborate with others to deliver end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and training. • Facilitates production rollout, validation and support. Transitions knowledge to support team post release. • This position evaluates how users are working with the solution during the implementation phase and ensures modifications are made, where necessary.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree required • 5 – 7 years relevant experience in business analysis or systems analysis experience in a large and complex business environment • Ability to define problems, assemble and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management and end users • Superior written, listening, and verbal communication skills and written English language fluency skills • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical project team members • Experience managing requirements with Use Cases Experience creating business Requirements Specifications • Strong experience creating User Stories defining business needs for digital solutions • Working knowledge of Web Technologies • Experience with Jira and requirements or workflow management practices • Extensive experience creating business documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and JIRA • Must be able to interview and develop rapport with othersMust be highly analytical and detail oriented • Ability to work independently and as a team member

What Will Set You Apart

• Experience in EPW ("Empower Personal Wealth") operations or financial services industry preferred • Experience with financial services operations and the systems and processes supporting investment, advisory, or wealth management businesses • Project management or workflow management preferred • Experience supporting artificial intelligence (AI), automation, or emerging technology initiatives from a business analysis perspective

Base Salary Range $87,400.00 - $123,400.00 The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
