The Arch Direct Intern supports Arch Direct team in the direct procurement of critical scope, supporting the early acquisition of long-lead items and focusing on best-value solutions. Role offers hand on experience of working collaboratively with the project team, and construction partners to reduce project risk, address field challenges proactively, and help minimize schedule and cost impacts within a dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities / Essential FunctionsAssist in the execution and support of Arch Direct projects / contractsAssist in departmental & package coordination ensuring tracking & reporting of key metrics is up to date and accurateAssist in package document control, ensure timely and accurate management of package documentationAssist in review, mark-up & communication of package documentationParticipate in departmental & regional meetings, ensuring actions & commitments are well defined. Perform other duties as assigned by the Arch Direct team to support overall project success.Key Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information clearly to a range of stakeholders.Demonstrated passion for the construction industry.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team setting.Commitment to maintaining a safe, professional, and high-quality work environment.

Required Experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.Foundational understanding of construction safety protocols.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.Familiarity with or willingness to learn project management software and scheduling tools.Basic knowledge of risk management processes, including documentation and mitigation support.Capable of managing project documentation, data collection, and vendor tracking.
