The Senior Mechanical Engineer is a key role for the safe, reliable and compliant operations, through effective delivery of all mechanical systems and associated equipment across stipulated px operated sites. Effectively ensuring compliance, safety, integrity, reliability and commercial considerations. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence. Manage assigned projects and tasks to provide professional mechanical engineering support to stipulated px sites, supporting and delivering asset integrity, reliability, statutory compliance and improvement. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will also complete local site support based upon business requirements. In line with business requirements, set and implement effective mechanical engineering systems, strategies, projects and processes ensuring required performance and compliance are delivered and maintained. Provide appropriate guidance and support to px personnel and customers on mechanical engineering matters including shutdowns, unplanned/planned events, incidents, projects, modifications and improvement activities. Ensure technical documentation (procedures, drawings, instructions, guidance, systems) are accurately and consistently sourced, stored, updated and communicated. Assist in providing functional design specifications on any new plant developments or projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards Complete assigned audits communicating outcomes and driving actions. Deliver projects (capital, revenue, improvement & change management) consistent with px project management procedures, ensuring changes are raised and approved via the px ‘Management of Change’ process. When required, support client managed projects. Lead and manage assigned px, contract and other personnel, setting and maintaining standards. More details can be found on the role profile attached.
