About this role
The Traffic Management Co-Ordinator will support the delivery of Traffic Management activities across the United Utilities contract, acting as a key link between United Utilities, Network Plus operational teams, depots and subcontractors. Based at Lingley Mere, the role will coordinate day-to-day Traffic Management requirements, ensuring works are effectively planned, resourced and delivered safely, compliantly and efficiently. Act as a key point of contact for Traffic Management across the United Utilities contract. Coordinate Traffic Management requirements across planned and reactive works. Undertake site and desktop surveys and support the preparation and verification of Traffic Management plans. Monitor programmes and identify upcoming resource, access or Traffic Management requirements. Liaise with United Utilities, Network Plus teams, Highway Authorities and subcontractors to resolve site queries and operational issues. Oversee Traffic Management delivery, including site audits, documentation, PPE, vehicle and general compliance checks. Coordinate subcontractor resources and support the monitoring of subcontractor performance. Attend operational and programme meetings, providing updates and escalating potential risks or issues. Support day/night handovers and participate in the agreed out-of-hours escalation rota. Review Traffic Management incidents and recurring issues, helping identify root causes and improvement actions. Maintain accurate operational and compliance records.
