You'll have the opportunity to: Practice Emergency Veterinary Medicine in a fast-paced hospital Work alongside experienced Emergency Veterinarians Build advanced skills in triage, anesthesia, surgery support, diagnostics, and emergency nursing Treat a wide variety of emergency and urgent care cases Work as part of a collaborative, supportive veterinary team Participate in continuing education and ongoing clinical training Pursue career growth and professional development opportunities Receive employee pet care discounts As an Emergency Veterinary Technician , you'll provide hands-on patient care while supporting veterinarians during emergency cases, procedures, and treatments. Responsibilities include: Perform patient triage and assist with emergency assessments Obtain patient histories and monitor changes in patient condition Perform venipuncture, blood collection, and IV catheter placement Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed Perform in-house laboratory diagnostics and prepare samples for reference laboratories Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical and emergency procedures Support emergency treatments and patient recovery Assist with radiology and diagnostic imaging Maintain accurate medical records and treatment sheets Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and clients Provide compassionate support to patients and their families during emergency situations
