The Role
Managing acute and chronic medical conditions Conducting face-to-face and telephone consultations Prescribing and reviewing medications Participating in clinical audits and MDT meetings Supporting QOF and local enhanced services Providing proactive, patient-centred careIn addition to the standard responsibilities of a GP, we are particularly interested in candidates with a desirable special interest in womens health and gynaecological issues. This includes (but is not limited to):
Menstrual, menopausal and contraceptive care Routine gynaecological presentations Coil/implant fitting and removal (desirable but not essential) Supporting continuity of care for female patients with ongoing reproductive or sexual health concernsDesirable Criteria
Special interest and experience in womens health and gynaecology DFSRH, DRCOG or equivalent Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills Ability to work effectively within a team and independently Passion for providing compassionate, inclusive careWhat We Offer

Job description Job responsibilities Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Practice Duties:
Provide consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic medical conditions
Carry out clinical examinations and make referrals where appropriate
Undertake telephone/video consultations and home visits as necessary
Prescribe medications safely and in accordance with current guidelines
Contribute to the achievement of QOF and other contractual targets
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, HCAs, pharmacists, and PCN staff
Participate in practice audits, significant event reviews, and clinical governance
Support continuity of care through effective record keeping
Womens Health (Desirable)
Manage menopause, menstrual disorders, and other reproductive health issues
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
MRCGP and full GMC registration with a licence to practise
Inclusion on the NHS England performers list
Experience or formal training in womens health (e.g. DFSRH, DRCOG) is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to high standards of care and continuous professional development

Qualifications Essential
MRCGP or equivalent GMC full registration with a licence to practise Inclusion on the NHS England Medical Performers List
Desirable
DFSRH / DRCOG / LoC IUT or SDI Additional training or CPD in womens health or gynaecology
Experience Essential
Experience working in UK general practice (including ST3 if newly qualified) Management of a broad range of acute and chronic conditions Use of electronic medical records
Desirable
Experience running or contributing to womens health clinics Experience fitting/removing coils or implants
Knowledge and Skills Essential
Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Good time management and organisational skills
Desirable
Understanding of local and national women's health priorities Knowledge of QOF, enhanced services and PCN working Ability to contribute to audits, service development, or QI projects
