Job summary

Corwen House Surgery is looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team in North Wales.

We are a well-established practice providing care to a varied local population, supported by an experienced team of GPs, advanced practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, dispensary, reception and administrative staff.

The role will include a varied general practice workload, including face-to-face and telephone consultations, management of acute and long-term conditions, prescribing and clinical administration. The number of sessions, 4-6 sessions, can be discussed depending on the applicants preference and practice requirements.

Corwen House Surgery is a dispensing and supportive GP practice based in North Wales. We have an experienced clinical and administrative team and aim to provide high-quality, patient-centred care to our local community.

Job description Job responsibilities

Main duties will include:

Face-to-face and telephone consultations

Assessment and management of acute and long-term conditions

Prescribing and medication reviews

Reviewing test results and clinical correspondence

Referrals to secondary care and other services where appropriate

Participation in QAIF projects and surgery targets

Home visits when clinically required

Clinical administration associated with patient care, blood results , clinical letters etc

Participation in practice meetings, clinical governance and quality improvement

Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary practice team

Experience Essential

Qualifications Essential

Primary medical qualification MBBS, MBChB or equivalent Full GMC registration with a current licence to practise Included on the GMC GP Register Included on, or eligible for inclusion on, the NHS Wales Medical Performers List

Desirable
