About this role

Job summary

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised administration apprentice to join our Pharmacy team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience while studying towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. To be eligible for the apprenticeship you must have Maths and English 9-5 (A-C) and have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.

As part of our team, you'll provide essential administrative support across a busy department while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in administration.

Main duties of the job

We're seeking someone who:

Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Is confident using Microsoft Office applications Has strong communication and teamwork skills Is eager to learn and develop new skills Can manage their workload effectively and work to deadlines Takes pride in delivering high-quality customer service You'll gain hands-on experience in a wide range of administrative tasks, including:

Preparing agendas and taking minutes at meetings Creating and formatting documents, reports, graphs and flowcharts Data entry and record management Filing, scanning and photocopying documents Handling incoming and outgoing post Ordering stationery and departmental supplies Supporting the distribution of pharmacy resources and medical textbooks Booking meeting rooms and coordinating meetings Assisting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative support Organising, distributing and recording prescriptions across Trust services Supporting colleagues across the wider Pharmacy department as required Providing general administrative support and undertaking ad hoc duties
