Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Responsibilities
• Manage and service an established commercial lines book of business consisting of approximately 300 client accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while responding promptly to coverage questions and service requests.
• Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs) and other policy documentation.
• Market both new and renewal business to multiple insurance carriers to secure competitive coverage options.
• Prepare renewal proposals and review policy recommendations with clients.
• Communicate regularly with insurance carriers and underwriters to resolve coverage questions and negotiate solutions.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system.
• Support producers with new business onboarding, account transitions, and retention efforts.
• Balance multiple priorities while meeting deadlines for renewals, endorsements, carrier requests, and client deliverables.
• Deliver a high level of customer service focused on long-term client retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience.
• Experience managing a generalist commercial property and casualty book of business.
• Ability to independently handle renewals, endorsements, Certificates of Insurance (COIs), and day-to-day account servicing.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
• Experience working directly with insurance carriers and underwriters.
• Experience using an agency management system (AMS 360 experience preferred; similar systems such as Applied Epic are acceptable).
• Property & Casualty License preferred or willingness to obtain after hire.
