Reporting to the Sydney-based Technical Services Manager, this role will provide oversight of the Singapore Technical Services Department, involving day to day planning and maintenance scheduling of the Luxaviation managed fleet of aircraft in Singapore. The Senior Technical Services Engineer will also provide support to the Luxaviation Malaysian fleet when required as directed.
Key responsibilities include:
• Local management, oversight, planning and coordination of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) Team;
• Appraising, mentoring, developing and motivating the CAMO Team to achieve the highest standards;
• Maintenance control duties as outlined in the ExecuJet Maintenance Control Manual including the responsibilities as stipulated in the relevant regulations;
• Maintaining the Aircraft Reliability Program (where required);
• Preparing Maintenance Control, System of Maintenance (AMP) or Minimum Equipment List manuals for customers;
• Performing Technical Surveys of aircraft and aircraft records and writing Technical Survey reports;
• Collating Technical data for operations navigation applications and completing the relevant applications.
• Preparing regular maintenance reports for managed aircraft;
• Collating and presenting maintenance quotations to managed customers for consideration and approval;
• Preparing work order requests for due and unscheduled maintenance required to be done on managed aircraft for presentation to the selected maintenance organisation;
• Providing on-site oversight of maintenance work being completed by MROs where required;
• Assisting in AOG events;
• Contributing to the development and continuation of the ExecuJet Safety Management System including hazard identification and risk management processes;
• Actively pursuing CAMO management opportunities, preparing proposals and presenting to the customer.
Key selection criteria:
• Proven experience or 5 years’ experience as a Technical Services Engineer.
• Previous experience in the corporate aviation business sector is essential.
• Detailed knowledge of FAA, Bermuda, IOMAR and SMAR regulations.
• Demonstrated commitment to aviation safety.
• Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
• Adaptable, self-starter capable of working independently but also demonstrates a collaborative, team-focused approach.
• Requires valid, unrestricted Singapore working rights.
• Whilst working days are Monday – Friday, willingness to be available after hours to provide support as required, is essential given the 24/7 nature of aviation.
