POSITION PURPOSE

As a Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority to help successfully deploy Eleven’s Wi-Fi and network management platforms at scale, partnering with Implementation Managers, Customer Success Managers, Engineering, Local Service Providers (LSPs), and delivery partners. Your primary responsibility is to enable and support LSPs throughout the implementation lifecycle by providing technical guidance, deployment expertise, design validation, troubleshooting, and operational best practices. Rather than deliver every implementation directly, you will build partner capability, drive consistent deployment standards, and ensure high-quality customer outcomes through scalable enablement, automation, and continuous improvement.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This role will report to the VP of Implementation and has no direct reports.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Partner Enablement & Implementation Support

• Act as the primary technical advisor to LSPs throughout customer deployments.

• Provide remote implementation guidance and technical oversight.

• Assist LSPs with complex implementations and technical escalations, validating routing, VLANs, wireless controller configuration, authentication, firewall and connectivity requirements.

Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the technical lead for several concurrent engagements with current and prospective enterprise customers.

• Establish credibility with the customer’s IT/network team on assigned accounts, becoming the trusted technical counterpart for all deployment-related topics.

Implementation Standards, Automation & Quality

• Develop and document reusable implementation playbooks, standards, and validation procedures.

• Standardize deployment methodologies across LSPs.

• Identify recurring issues and drive automation opportunities.

• Contribute to deployment forecasting and capacity planning.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.

Partner Success & Technical Leadership

• Build trusted relationships with LSP engineering teams.

• Deliver technical workshops, onboarding and certification.

• Mentor partner engineers on Stella deployment methodologies.

• Measure partner capability and recommend continuous improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Provide structured implementation feedback to Product and Engineering.

• Assist Implementation and Customer Success teams with technical planning and customer escalations.

• Evaluate new deployment tools and technologies.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This role operates primarily in a remote office environment with approximately 10% travel to partner locations, customer sites and internal meetings as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Remains in a stationary position for extended periods of time. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, cell phones, computer mouse and computer monitor. For remote office setup; places, moves, installs, replaces and hooks up technology equipment that may weigh up to 20 pounds. Communicates complex information effectively to clients and co-workers via telephone, video, or email.

This position requires travel to company and client sites 10% amount of time per year. Travel will be by plane, rental car or own car, depending on the distance of the location traveling to.

REQUIREMENTS

Must Have:

• 5+ years of enterprise networking, implementation or technical consulting experience.

• Experience supporting managed service providers, customer service providers, or systems integrators.

• Strong knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, Wi-Fi, RADIUS, 802.1X and firewall technologies.

• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Juniper, Fortinet, Meraki, or equivalent platforms.

• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, presentation, and customer communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent implementation activities and partner engagements.

• Candidate must be based in the United States and comfortable working remote.

• Have flexibility with schedule to accommodate meetings of customers in EMEA and other time zones across the US and globe.

• Ability to travel internationally. Either have a current active passport or be able to get one within the first 2 months of employment.

• Ability to drive to the client’s site if needed.

Strongly Preferred:

• Hospitality, managed services, or telecommunications experience.

• Experience developing technical standards, playbooks, and partner certification programs.

• SD-WAN, cloud-managed networking, and network automation.

• AI-assisted deployment, operational tooling, and process automation.

• Experience enabling technical partners at scale.

• Located in the Eastern time zone

• Bachelor's degree in related field

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the United States is $115,000 -$125,000 USD. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
