Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading Dynamic Transit’s marketing strategy and execution with a primary focus on social media growth, audience engagement, brand

awareness, employer brand development, and business growth. The primary purpose of this position is to increase Dynamic Transit’s visibility and strengthen its reputation among the audiences most important to the business—particularly professional drivers, prospective employees, current employees, customers, and prospective customers. The Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of social media, content, brand, digital, recruiting marketing, and sales-support initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring both strategic thinking and execution. The Marketing Manager is expected to independently identify opportunities, develop recommendations, establish priorities, execute initiatives, measure results, and continuously improve the company's marketing efforts. The individual in this position is expected to assume increasing ownership of the marketing function during the first 90 days.

Primary Areas of Accountability

1. Social Media & Brand Growth — Primary Responsibility

• Develop and own Dynamic Transit’s social media strategy.

• Manage the company's presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other appropriate platforms.

• Establish measurable goals for audience growth, reach, engagement, and brand awareness.

• Develop strategies to increase meaningful engagement rather than simply increasing posting frequency.

• Monitor platform performance and make recommendations based on audience behavior and analytics.

• Identify emerging platforms, formats, trends, and opportunities relevant to Dynamic Transit.

• Monitor competitors and transportation industry activity to identify opportunities for differentiation.

• Develop and maintain the company's social media voice and ensure consistency across platforms.

• Manage social media communities and respond appropriately to comments, messages, questions, and other audience interactions.

• Develop campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement, and audience growth.

2. Employer Brand & Recruiting Marketing

• Partner with recruiting to develop marketing strategies that support driver recruitment.

• Translate Dynamic Transit’s employee value proposition into compelling content and campaigns.

• Develop content highlighting drivers, employees, culture, equipment, career opportunities, benefits, and the driver experience.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen Dynamic Transit’s reputation within the professional driver community.

• Develop campaigns that support hiring needs and targeted recruiting markets.

• Work with recruiters and employees to identify authentic stories and content opportunities.

• Monitor recruiting marketing performance and recommend improvements.

• Ensure recruiting marketing accurately represents the employee experience and company culture.

3. Sales & Corporate Brand Marketing

• Partner with sales to strengthen Dynamic Transit’s visibility and reputation among current and prospective customers.

• Develop content highlighting company capabilities, specialized services, equipment, technology, operational expertise, safety, and customer solutions.

• Support sales initiatives through relevant digital content and marketing campaigns.

• Identify opportunities to position Dynamic Transit as a knowledgeable and credible transportation provider.

• Develop content that differentiates Dynamic Transit within the transportation and logistics industry.

• Coordinate with sales and operations to identify stories and capabilities that can be leveraged through marketing.

4. Content Strategy & Production

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive content strategy and editorial calendar.

• Plan content across social media, digital channels, recruiting marketing, corporate marketing, and sales support.

• Coordinate photography and video capture throughout company locations and operations.

• Create or coordinate graphics, photography, video, written content, and other marketing assets.

• Identify opportunities to capture authentic content from drivers, employees, customers, operations, maintenance, equipment, and company activities.

• Repurpose content appropriately across multiple platforms.

• Ensure content is accurate, timely, engaging, and aligned with Dynamic Transit’s brand.

• Establish repeatable content-development and approval processes.

5. Marketing Strategy & Analytics

• Develop annual, quarterly, and campaign-level marketing strategies.

• Establish measurable marketing objectives and KPIs.

• Track social media audience growth, engagement, reach, website activity, campaign performance, recruiting marketing performance, and other relevant metrics.

• Analyze performance and make data-driven recommendations.

• Provide regular reporting to leadership.

• Identify underperforming activities and recommend changes.

• Evaluate marketing channels and advertising expenditures.

• Research competitors, industry trends, audience behavior, and market opportunities.

• Continuously test and optimize marketing strategies.

6. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Serve as the primary marketing resource for the organization.

• Develop strong working relationships with recruiting, sales, operations, maintenance, HR, and leadership.

• Bring marketing recommendations and opportunities to internal teams.

• Help departments identify opportunities to leverage marketing and content.

• Establish priorities and timelines for marketing initiatives.

• Coordinate internal and external resources required to execute marketing initiatives.

• Manage relationships with outside vendors, photographers, videographers, agencies, and other marketing partners.

• Provide direction and oversight for marketing projects.

• Educate internal teams on brand, content, social media, and marketing best practices.

90-Day Expectations:

First 30 Days

The Marketing Manager should:

• Develop a strong understanding of Dynamic Transit’s business, customers, drivers, employees, recruiting needs, sales objectives, and brand.

• Complete an audit of existing social media channels, content, audience, engagement, and performance.

• Identify immediate opportunities to improve content, engagement, and brand visibility.

• Establish relationships with key internal stakeholders.

• Begin building a content pipeline and identifying recurring content opportunities.

Days 31–60

The Marketing Manager should:

• Establish a clear social media and brand-growth strategy.

• Implement a consistent content calendar.

• Establish baseline marketing and social media KPIs.

• Begin executing new content initiatives and engagement strategies.

• Establish a repeatable process for collecting, creating, approving, and publishing content.

• Identify opportunities to better connect marketing activity to recruiting and sales objectives.

Days 61–90

The Marketing Manager should:

• Take ownership of day-to-day marketing strategy and execution.

• Demonstrate measurable progress in social media engagement, audience growth, reach, and brand visibility.

• Have an established content engine and marketing workflow.

• Provide leadership with regular marketing performance reporting.

• Present a forward-looking marketing strategy with priorities and measurable objectives.

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of how marketing can support recruiting and sales.

• Proactively identify and recommend new campaigns, content opportunities, and growth initiatives.

• Demonstrated success increasing social media audience size, engagement, reach, or brand awareness.

Required Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3+ years of progressive marketing, social media, digital marketing, brand, or related experience.

• Demonstrated experience managing social media channels.

• Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing strategies.

• Demonstrated experience creating content for multiple digital platforms.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing performance and make recommendations based on results.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management and crossfunctional teams.

Physical Environment

This is an in-office position based in Granite City, IL. The position requires regular interaction with employees and operations and may involve time throughout company facilities, yards, shops, and other operational environments for meetings, content development, photography, and video capture.

Travel Expectations

Local travel may be required for company meetings, recruiting events, industry events, content capture, and other marketing activities. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
