The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Lot Attendant. The Lot Attendant is responsible for ensuring the overall safety and security of vehicles. This individual checks all vehicles prior to being rented by our customers to ensure that the cars are clean and safe, and ready to be rented by our customers.
This seasonal (180-day) position located at 600 Rental Blvd. in Kenner, LA (New Orleans International Airport).

Friday - Tuesday: 6:00am - 2:00pmOFF: Wednesday and Thursday Evenings

The starting rate of pay for this position is $16.00 per hour, based on a 40-hour workweek. Employees receive a $2.00 per hour shift differential for weekend shifts, resulting in:
$16.00/hour for Monday-Friday$18.00/hour for Saturday and Sunday Responsibilities
Inspect vehicles prior to rental to ensure the overall safety and security of the vehicles.Check cars that are being moved into the ready garages for the following:Tire tread depthInsurance card in glove boxLicense platesCleanliness of vehicle inside, out, trunk, compartmentsFuel levelDash lightsNote body damagePerform all other related work as required by management. Rental Ready Line Organization
Monitor all aspects of vehicle movement within the rental garage and to the rental ready lines Manage driver activity to rental ready lines and ensure vehicles are moved to the best location to maximize customer experience, space and traffic flow Inspections
Inspect vehicles for damage prior rental and ensure that proper check in process is followed Facilitate lost and found items with 3rd party or service agent teamMaintain current registration and ensure all expired license plates are grounded by working closely with staff to provide support on title registration, fleet maintenance, maintenance tracking on vehicles, turnback recording, duplicate key procedures, and other special projects Communication and Point of Contact
Act as the go-between in communicating with the rental team as well as the production facilityAct as the point of contact for the driver team on a daily basis Provide administrative support for the Fleet Supervisor and assistance to Branch Managers, Assistant Managers, and Vehicle Repair where needed Act as a point of contact for Managers to get specific upgrade vehicles for customers Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years oldMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).High School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredMust have a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative supportMust be able to work one of the following schedules: Mornings
