Job Purpose
The Services Configuration & Quotation QA Lead is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and business readiness of all solutions within the Services Configuration, Quotation, Pricing, and Quote-to-Order domains.
The role owns the testing strategy, test execution governance, defect management, and release quality activities across Services quoting platforms and related integrations. The QA Lead ensures that configuration, pricing, quotation generation, contract quotation, offer modelling, and quote-to-order processes meet business, functional, performance, and integration requirements before deployment.
The role serves as the quality authority for the Configuration & Quotation squad and works closely with Product Owners, Business Process Owners, Application Analysts, Solution Leads, Developers, and Technical Leads
Key Responsibilities
Domain Quality OwnershipOwn end-to-end quality assurance for Services Configuration & Quotation capabilities.Ensure solution quality across:Product ConfigurationService ConfigurationPricing & DiscountingContract QuotationRenewals QuotationOffer & Package CreationQuote GenerationQuote-to-Order processesAct as the primary quality representative for the Configuration & Quotation squad. Test Strategy & Planning Define testing approaches for new features, enhancements, and releases.Create comprehensive test plans and regression testing strategies.Establish test coverage aligned with business requirements and solution design.Maintain reusable test assets and test libraries. Functional & Integration Testing Validate business processes across platforms including:QuotationConfigurationService ExecutionERP systemsProduct Information Management solutionsMiddleware and integration servicesVerify data quality and process continuity throughout the quote lifecycle.Ensure upstream and downstream integration behaviour is thoroughly tested. Quality Assurance Execution Coordinate and execute:Functional TestingSystem TestingIntegration TestingRegression TestingUser Acceptance Testing supportReview test results and identify quality risks.Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test scenarios, and defects. Defect Management Lead defect triage activities.Classify defects by severity, business impact, and priority.Partner with development teams to drive timely resolution.Validate defect fixes and regression impacts.Track and report defect trends and quality metrics. Automation & Continuous Quality Improvement Identify opportunities to increase test automation coverage.Support development of automated test suites for critical business scenarios.Promote shift-left testing practices.Drive continuous improvement of testing standards and methodologies. Release & Deployment Readiness Assess release readiness from a quality perspective.Ensure all critical business processes meet predefined quality criteria.Participate in Go/No-Go decision forums.Support production validation and hypercare activities after deployment. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with:Product OwnersBusiness Process OwnersApplication AnalystsE2E Solution LeadsDigital Delivery ManagersDevelopment TeamsBusiness Super UsersE2E Test LeadCommunicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns to leadership.Provide recommendations on quality improvements and risk mitigation. Requirements
Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline. Experience 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.Experience in CPQ, quotation, pricing, configuration, or commercial process platforms.Experience validating complex quote-to-order business processes.Experience working in Agile product delivery environments.Experience supporting global deployments and multi-country releases.
