The opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.
In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

How you'll make an impact
Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirementsMonitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffingEnsuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)Manage After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needsIdentifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budgetMay include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables Your background
Electrical Engineering or mechanical Engineering Background2-3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and ReactorsCollaboration with diverse number of stakeholdersVery good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plusStrong communicator, self-driven and open-mindedStructured and organized person with the ability to work under time pressureTeam-player able to build and motivate a project team More about us
