Job Description Summary This role is responsible for driving Quality and Standard Work initiatives across the Configuration Management and Product Definition Engineering (CMPD) organization. As a member of the General Manager's staff, the Quality Leader will collaborate closely with process leaders to establish robust and sustainable processes which meet our customer's needs with first time quality.

Essential Responsibilities
Lead CMPD's implementation of ISO 9001, QMS, audit and surveillance processesDrive the creation and maintenance of standard work across CMPD teams for the following quality categoriesProduct quality - drawing/model correctnessStandard Work and Quality Procedure Management - work instructions/procedures; how to document/measure quality, metrics, etc.Tools quality - ensuring application rollouts include a control mechanism for improvement and validation of effectiveness (usage, time savings, etc) and maintaining coding standardsData quality - master data management of critical objects and attributes; health of data between interfacing systems (i.e. PLM->ERP); ties to product quality in PLM and of information flow upstream and downstreamOwn CMPD's repositories of standard work (Confluence, etc.) and coordinate with process owners to ensure that standard work is documented, up-to-date, relevant, and visible to all stakeholdersWork with the Gas Power Engineering quality value stream leaders to assess the current baselines for quality performance and determine the processes needing improvement using the Lean methodologiesServe as CMPD's representative to the Gas Power Engineering Quality organizationDrive the implementation Quality Metrics during monthly operating reviews and integration of preventive measures into standard workOwn the tracking of NCR, including overall cost of qualityCoordinate with the CMPD Lead Coach to identify and execute improvement projects & kaizen events throughout the year following the GPE Lean standard workPromote a culture of "Lean Thinking" among the Engineering People Leaders focused on Servant Leadership, Customer Focus and Employee EmpowermentWork with the Gas Power Engineering quality value stream leaders to assess the current baselines for quality performance and determine the processes needing improvement using the Lean methodologiesServe as CMPD's representative to the Gas Power Engineering Quality organization
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or collegeMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in successfully managing programs/projects or driving continuous improvement initiatives

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
