Job Summary:
Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer's site.
We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in (Winnipeg, MB)
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Completing repair activities on generators or componentsEngaging with customers in a courteous and professional mannerPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviceAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.Advanced experience with electrical repair and maintenanceProficient Diesel Engine experience.Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator systems.Understanding switchgear schematics.Ability to train Entry/Intermediate Technicians/Mechanics. -This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy
