As a Trade Finance Operations Manager within our team, you will manage daily operational activities, ensuring compliance with UCP, ISP, URDG, Boycott regulations, and OFAC. You will analyze processes, identify improvement areas, and execute action plans to enhance efficiency and turnaround time. Your role will involve supporting managers in driving process efficiency, managing crisis situations, and motivating the team.
Job responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operational activities for Trade FinanceAnalyze processes to identify improvement areas and execute action plansSupport managers in driving process efficiency and implementing best practicesManage crisis situations through proper escalation and motivate the teamDevelop and exercise business plans and internal proceduresLead projects, offer innovative solutions, and identify cost efficiency opportunitiesEnsure integrity of processes, operations, and associated resultsSupport a wide range of stakeholders, including Product, Sales, Client Service, Partner Site, and Tech SupportBuild effective relationships with management and internal stakeholders, influencing them where necessary Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Strong knowledge of Trade products, processes, and systemsExcellent attention to detail and ability to know when a deep dive approach is appropriateAbility to drive results through a hands-on approachSkilled in identifying talent, recruiting, coaching, mentoring, managing, and developing team membersExcellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at communicating with all levels of the business and technical parts of the organizationAbility to operate in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and prioritize work effectivelyUnderstanding of operational risks, related controls, audit, and internal control frameworkConfidence to challenge and be challenged while maintaining a positive outlook Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
