Job Description: This job is responsible for providing advanced fiduciary, estate, and transfer tax expertise to Private Bank client teams, focused on delivering exceptional client service and supporting complex estate administration engagements. The position serves as a senior technical resource on estate and fiduciary tax matters, including the preparation and review of federal and state estate tax returns (Form 706), fiduciary income tax returns (Form 1041), and related filings. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting, advising on estate settlement and tax planning matters, conducting research on complex tax issues, and guiding the treatment of transactions affecting estates, trusts, and beneficiaries. The role requires adherence to client service standards, bank policies, and all applicable federal and state fiduciary and estate tax laws and reporting requirements.
Responsibilities:
Provides technical tax expertise and ensures assigned accounts are fulfilled to achieve client service standardsReviews and prepares complex federal and state estate tax returns (Form 706), fiduciary income tax returns (1041), and related filingsComplies with bank standards and policies, federal and state tax law, and client service standardsActs as a tax technical resource for Fiduciary Tax Service associates and Private Bank client teamsDevelops and delivers technical or systems related tax trainings to the tax department, while serving as the point of contact for questions or inquiries related to tax Desired Experience:
10 plus years of progressive experience in estate and transfer tax preparation and reviewExperience preparing and reviewing Federal Estate Tax Returns (Form 706), Fiduciary Tax Returns (1041), and related state fiduciary and estate filingsExperience advising on post-mortem tax planning opportunities, including portability elections, basis planning, and administration expenses Skills:

Pay and benefits information
Pay range
$87,500.00 - $133,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
Discretionary incentive eligible
This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
