We are looking for a Financial Accountant to play a key role in the Corporate Accounting organization. This role reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Accounting, and partners closely with Controllership and cross-functional teams, and helps build the Corporate Segment Controllership function from the ground up while supporting close, controls, and accounting operations.
Responsibilities:Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close for the Corporate Segment, delivering timely and accurate financials in accordance with US GAAP while maintaining a strong internal controls environmentEstablish and implement close processes and procedures across Corporate areas, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet business needsProvide accounting support for corporate areas including Finance, HR, Legal, Strategy, Sales & Marketing, Technology, and ProcurementPrepare Corporate Segment journal entries and account reconciliations, and support monthly Balance Sheet and P&L review for accuracyPartner with the Senior Director and Technology FP&A teams to provide accounting insights on hardware/software licensing arrangements, Data Centers, and related accounting treatmentSupport and improve reconciliation and close operations, including global Blackline reconciliation administration and compliance with company policyLead or contribute to process improvement, automation, executive reporting, ad-hoc projects, BR Foundation financials, and Digital Transformation initiativesRequirements:Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in General Ledger accountingAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with enterprise accounting systems (such as: Oracle, NetSuite, SAP)Strong analytical capabilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the interpretation of financial dataExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels#LI-MS1
