Your Responsibilities Development, commissioning, and validation of complex measurement and test systems for opto-mechanical modules and fiber assemblies, taking regulatory requirements into account Design of test procedures, as well as definition and coordination of requirements for mechanical components, software, and components used Conducting sensitivity analyses to identify relevant influencing and disturbance variables Planning, conducting, and evaluating measurement campaigns for product development, verification, and validation Defining test criteria and creating structured test and inspection concepts Implementing developed measurement procedures into production, as well as providing support and optimization during series production Preparing test, operating, maintenance, and calibration documentation Your Profile Master’s degree in photonics, optical engineering, optical system or laser technology, physics or similar Solid knowledge about technical optics (e.g. optical imaging quality, aberrations, etc.) and optical device development Experience in measurement and qualification technology, preferably in connection to manufacturing/assembly of optical systems & fiber assemblies Experience in evaluation, representation & analysis of experimental data Advanced skills in Python scripting for data analysis Structured, analytical and team-oriented way of working Business fluent in German & English Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer Minorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation Excelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
