Key Responsibilities and Duties: i) Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and control medium/large scale projects, i.e., regulatory projects such as eInvoice, SBV ACC/CIC/AML report, eTax, eCustoms,… or HO/Regional solution rollouts i.e., APH/NAPAS, AML/KYC, Treasury, transaction banking including CITAD/VCB and internet banking; and local solution projects for branch-specific requirement. Contribute to frameworks and automation where feasible. ii) Solution Design and Business Analysis: Clarify requirements across HNI/HCM; produce BRD including NFR/FSD, process maps, and acceptance criteria; align with One-Vietnam practices/SDLC. iii) SDLC including Quality Assurance & Change Management: Enforce documentation completeness, test coverage, and release quality; minimize re-work. iv) Coordination: Interface with Head Office/Regional teams, business units, and vendors; manage schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies. v) BAU Support: Triage incidents, ensure SLA compliance, and support production stability and resilience for HNI/HCM. vi) Compliance & Security: Coordinate vulnerability remediation, patching, and controls; ensure audit-ready documentation. vii) Kaizen/Cost Optimization: Identify improvements to reduce overtime and HR costs; standardize processes and templates. viii) Cross-Backup: Provide backup coverage within the application team to maintain continuity. Job Requirements: - Essential: i) Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science. ii) 5–7 years of project management experience delivering medium- to large-scale projects; approximately 8 years in IT (solutioning/software development). iii) Fluent in English (written and spoken) for Regional/Head Office coordination; strong teamwork, ownership, and ability to work accurately under pressure. iv) Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Preferable: i) Experience in foreign corporations/markets and enterprise-scale projects. ii) Professional certifications: PMP (or equivalent), and relevant application solution certifications. iii) Hands-on BA, senior solutioning, or security background with framework contribution. iv) Database administration experience with MSSQL/Oracle for tuning and system resilience. - Skills and competencies i) Compliance-first and customer-oriented mindset; logical thinking. ii) Clear, concise communication with stakeholders across business and IT. iii) Detail-oriented with strong self-management, time management, and reporting skills. iv) Teamwork with the ability to contribute independently.
