About this role
Who we are We’re a bold team with a bright future; and we’re looking for people who want to be part of it. Evolution Mining is a premier global gold company operating six mines across Australia and Canada. We’re transforming mines and uplifting careers. We’ve extended the mine life of our Ernest Henry Operations to 2040 and doubled its ore reserves. We took our Cowal Gold Operations underground in just seven years. We’re transforming our Red Lake Operations, restoring it as a premier Canadian gold mine. That kind of ambition creates careers, not just jobs. When we asked our people what they enjoy most about working at Evolution, two things came up across every site: career growth and the quality of the people. Here, you’ll work alongside people who care, who push one another to be better, with leaders who are there to support you. What’s the opportunity? Play a key role in shaping the employee experience at one of Western Australia's most exciting gold operations. Working alongside operational leaders and an experienced People & Culture team, you'll provide trusted advice, influence positive outcomes, and help build high-performing teams across our underground mining operation. While preference will be given to candidates who live in or are willing to relocate to Kalgoorlie to work a residential 5:2:4:3 roster (10-hour days), we will also consider FIFO candidates from Perth on a 4:3 roster (12-hour days). Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates relocating within Australia. Based at our Mungari Operations and reporting to the Superintendent People & Culture, you'll: Partner with leaders to build capability, strengthen team performance and create positive workplace outcomes. Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations and performance management processes with professionalism and integrity. Drive workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and cyclical people processes that support operational success. Use people data and insights to identify trends, influence decision-making and support continuous improvement initiatives. Champion Evolution's values of Safety, Excellence, Accountability and Respect in every interaction and decision. Why Mungari Operations? Mungari is a cornerstone asset in our portfolio, with a mine life to at least 2038. It’s operationally diverse, with opportunities to work on the surface or underground and a great team of people who care. Our recent expansion of the processing plant has more than doubled processing capacity from 2 million to 4.2 million tonnes per year. With open pit and processing all on one site, the operational diversity is ideal for uplifting careers. The future here is bright; you could be part of it.
