Job Summary Responsibilities of Position Check students in and out for exams while maintaining a welcoming and professional demeanor. Assist faculty with picking up or delivering exams. Utilize Microsoft Teams to communicate appropriately with staff and adhere to timekeeping standards. Demonstrate professional phone skills such as forwarding calls, taking messages, and responding to inquiries. Learn to navigate an online accommodated testing system in order to execute exam check-ins/outs, view seating assignments, and answer general questions about exam scheduling. Complete required training, certifications, and workshops as scheduled with advance notice. Adhere to established office protocols involving appropriate workwear, timekeeping, scheduling, and customer service. Communicate with students involved with the Purdue Testing Services with sensitivity and helpfulness. Support PTS professional staff with completion of projects as needed. Additional duties, administrative tasks, and professional development training as determined by supervisor. Hours & Compensation: Starting wage of $11/hour. Hours vary based on student schedule and coverage needed. Minimum 10 hours and Maximum 20 hours per week. *Required: 10 hours during finals week which can be any time from Monday 7am - Saturday 4:30pm.
