Purpose The Vice President, Financial Business Services & Financial Systems is responsible for leading the enterprise finance shared services organization while establishing the strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of the company's financial systems, processes, and data. Reporting to the Controller, this executive partners with Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and executive leadership to deliver standardized, efficient, technology-enabled finance operations that support strategic decision-making, regulatory compliance, and enterprise growth. The role provides executive leadership over core finance operations, financial systems, process transformation, master data governance, reporting, automation, and organizational change to ensure Finance operates as a scalable, high-performing business partner. Accountabilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the long-term strategy for Financial Business Services and Financial Systems. Align finance operations with enterprise objectives and digital transformation initiatives. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Controller, Chief Financial Officer, and other executive leadership on finance operating model, technology investments, and organizational effectiveness. Build a culture focused on operational excellence, continuous improvement, customer service, and innovation. Financial Business Services Provide executive and performance management oversight for enterprise shared services to ensure finance operations comply with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance standards, as well as driving optimal regulatory outcomes. The service groups include: Record to Report Accounts Payable Fixed Assets and Regulatory Accounting Financial Systems Administration Financial Master Data Treasury Operations Support Close and Consolidation Support Financial Reporting Operations Service Delivery Management Financial Systems Leadership Own the strategy and governance of Finance technology platforms and partner closely with IT to ensure systems effectively support business requirements while maintaining security, reliability, and scalability including: SAP S/4HANA / ECC BlackLine PowerPlan Kyriba SAP Analytics Cloud Workiva Financial Reporting platforms Workflow and automation solutions Finance Transformation Finance lead supporting enterprise transformation initiatives to deliver measurable improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, financial controls, and user adoption including: Process standardization Automation Shared services optimization AI-enabled finance Digital workflow implementation Organizational redesign ERP optimization Operating model transformation Continuous improvement programs Data & Reporting Provide executive leadership to ensure Finance operates from a single source of truth through standardized data governance and reporting processes for: Enterprise financial reporting Management reporting Financial analytics Master Data Governance Data quality Chart of Accounts governance Business hierarchies Regulatory reporting support Executive dashboards Performance metrics Stakeholder Partnership Partner with and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve enterprise performance while strengthening business partnerships: CFO Controller CIO Business Unit Finance Leaders Regulatory Affairs Treasury Tax FP&A Procurement Human Resources Internal and External Auditors Leadership Responsibilities Lead a multi-functional organization of directors, managers, finance professionals, and systems specialists. Develop succession plans and leadership capability. Build high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and talent development. Foster collaboration across Finance, IT, Regulatory and Operations. Drive end-to-end process ownership and excellence with financial-impacting processes. Champion organizational change and employee engagement.
