Owns category strategies, leads advanced negotiations, and influences enterprise stakeholders to deliver long-term value, innovation, and supply resilience. Job Requirements Driving advanced supplier negotiations and complex contracting strategies. Embedding compliance, regulatory, and sustainability requirements into sourcing and contracting decisions. Leading enterprise or multi-region category strategies across direct and indirect spend. Partnering with engineering and business leaders to enable early supplier involvement and innovation. Evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring governance adherence. Identifying and mitigating supply, cost, and geopolitical risks through proactive sourcing strategies. What your background should look like 10 years’ Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company. 5 years of Optical related Ability to understand global markets, collaborate effectively with global teams, and experience in working with suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region and Global Understanding of optical transceivers, optical components, CPO, optics passive fiber connectivity, Silicon photonics, Lasers (EML, Vcsel etc) and fiber interfaces optical transmission, optical jumpers,Components used in AI/accelerated computing interconnects. Solid understanding of high‑speed optical transceiver architecture: optics chain, fiber interfaces and optical budgets.
