YOUR ROLE For our location in Tilburg, where we process items for a major telecom provider, we are looking for a Transport Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily loading and unloading planning of our warehouse. You will maintain intensive contact with carriers, warehouse colleagues, and the client to ensure products are delivered or unloaded on time. With your experience as a transport planner, you will work with your team to plan incoming and outgoing transport. You will maintain oversight, manage customer relationships, set priorities, and act quickly when needed. In addition, you will communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, be results-oriented, and strive to achieve goals together with your team. This full-time position involves varying working hours in shift schedules between 06:30 and 20:00. WHAT WILL YOU DO? In this role, you will work in the Shipping Office, directly adjacent to the warehouse. This means you will be well-informed about the challenges on the floor and maintain frequent contact with your colleagues. You will be part of the Shipping Office team (6 employees), responsible for scheduling carriers based on the daily workload. In addition to daily transport planning, your tasks include: Continuously monitoring the transport planning and maintaining contact with drivers, carriers, and the client (via email or phone) Solving problems and escalations in consultation with colleagues, supervision, and other departments such as Inbound and Outbound Analyzing the performance of carriers and (internal) clients, and developing improvement points WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? With your entrepreneurial attitude and strong communication skills, there is no problem that cannot be solved. You are resilient under pressure, work accurately, and can switch gears quickly. You are assertive and able to work independently without losing sight of team spirit. Thanks to your experience, you act as a liaison between the team and the Supervisor to maintain a comprehensive overview. Last but not least, you are flexible toward your colleagues and working hours during busy periods. You bring the following knowledge and experience: At least 3 years of experience in transport or capacity planning MBO+ work and thinking level (or equivalent) Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (other languages are a plus) Strong planning skills and logistical insight Experience with Excel and SAP WHAT DO WE OFFER YOU?
