LAB ASSISTANT We are seeking a Lab Assistant – Clinical Labs to:
• Perform standardized and specialized phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages and ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling. • Complete specimen receiving and processing, load them onto instruments or perform the kit testing, and associated instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing). • Patient check-in and order entry of laboratory tests in the laboratory information system. • Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients.
