Housing Construction Project Manager: Area Based Regeneration Waverley Court, also Niddrie Main Road (NE) Office Salary: £40,501 - £47,639 Contract Type: Permanent full time 36 hours per week We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, personable and technically strong Construction Project Manager with contractor management experience to join our established team of professionals. This is a great opportunity to build your career in a high-impact public sector role, gaining broad experience in mixed-tenure housing regeneration while contributing to better neighbourhoods and energy-efficient homes in Edinburgh. Working in the Low Rise Area Based Regeneration Team, you will be involved in overseeing construction activities from inception through to handover of allocated contracts. The Area Based Regeneration Services key objective, is to deliver essential repairs, maintenance, and energy efficiency improvements to the common parts of mixed-tenure tenement blocks across Edinburgh – buildings containing both Council-owned and privately-owned flats. You will work in conjunction with Building Surveying and Commercial team members, whilst working closely with Case Officers, as a first point of contact for site and works related enquiries. We are looking for someone who has knowledge, experience and an understanding of traditional and non traditional housing typology, property and construction services whilst applying CDM (Regulations) 2015 principles aligning with Council Health and Safety policies. You should be confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external including; designers, contractors, housing officers, tenant liaison officers, residents and to drive forward projects to a successful outcome.
