Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

The Crisis Service Technician is a professional who in coordination with the Crisis Svcs Counselor provides crisis management; information; follow-up referrals; and discharge planning to patients and families who present in the Emergency Center with a wide variety of psychiatric, chemical addiction, and psych-social problems.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychosocial/Mental Health field or other degrees with like curriculums
Preferred Qualifications:
• Upon hire: Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) - State of Washington • 1 year psychiatry and/or chemical dependency experience in a health care setting • 1 year experience in the area of crisis evaluation and intervention in an acute psychiatric setting with an emphasis on quick assessment skills
