About this role
A Sterilization Specialist is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the medical and surgical tools used in hospitals to avoid spreading of germs and infection. Accountabilities
• Decontamination of surgical and medical instruments.
• Decontaminate operating areas and set up equipment for surgical procedures.
• Ensure hospitals comply with regulations, and work to protect their patients from any infection.
• Assembling medical equipment.
• Testing and performing quality control checks routinely to make sure that it’s running properly.
• Performing equipment inventory and restock supplies when needed.
• Maintaining accurate sterilization records.
• Keeping tools organized, sorting mismatched sets of instruments and making them available for physicians in a timely manner.
The employee’s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities. The manager can assign other duties based on the business need. Work Environment

• Days off : 1 Day Off
• Working Hours : 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
Job Requirement Education
• Bachelor's degree in related specialization (chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry)
• Professional Accreditation Certificate authorized from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
