Primary Purpose To experience Mountaire's culture first-hand and provide additional exposure of Mountaire's family-oriented work environment. The intern will complete a finance and analytics-focused project related to commodity risk management, reporting, and business decision support. The project will involve collecting and analyzing data, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and developing recommendations that support the Agri-Business team's strategic objectives. The intern will present findings and proposed solutions to department leadership at the conclusion of the internship. Project Highlights

• This internship directly supports the Agri-Business department's 2027 initiatives by strengthening our analytical, risk management, and financial decision-making capabilities. • The intern will gain hands-on exposure to commodity risk management, market analysis, and trade decision making. • The role also supports our commitment to developing future talent with specialized expertise in agricultural finance and commodity merchandising. Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled and pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university (Interest in grain merchandising, risk management, finance preferred). • Valid Driver's license and willing to travel between sites. • Must pass the Mountaire Motor Vehicle Record check. • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Basic understanding of financial accounting and financial statements Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete assigned project identified by department mentor • Attend weekly seminar series across different Mountaire facilities • Other duties as assigned. • All interns must be available to travel to Delaware during the last week of the program for final presentations (August 2 - 6, 2027) • All interns are required to complete a 10-minute presentation on their project at the conclusion of summer. Presentations will take place in Millsboro, DE at the Administrative Building during the week of August 2-6. • All interns must complete a mid-way evaluation (week 5) along with a final evaluation (week 10) • Anticipated weekly schedule for this internship is M-F, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. #LI-DR1
